On May 6, 2006, Helen Hoffman returned to her native Texas to attend the opening of her newest exhibit that included 23 works, featuring landscapes, still lifes, figures and architecture. The exhibits' success was assured by the sale of 9 paintings before the show opened in San Antonio at Nanette Richardson Fine Art.  Helen was greeted by a standing-room-only crowd of friends and patrons.  The artist received much praise and appreciation from the guests for her signature use of lights and shadows and the exacting detail in each of the oils and pastels.
